Academy's Mission

HAPPY AND WELL-EDUCATED POLISH CHILDREN. PLEASED PARENTS.
The academy’s mission is first and foremost to preserve and promote Polish identity and culture, which we achieve through teaching Polish language, history, geography and religion while respecting Christian values on which Poland grew. Teaching of children and teenagers is carried out in the spirit of patriotism, morality and personal culture with attention to respect for other cultures and traditions. Teaching is conducted based on programs prepared for Polish schools by highly qualified and experienced educators.

A Word From Academy's Principal

We want to provide students with all-round development, spark in them and different opinions and views. These activities are intended to strengthen ties and provide opportunities to belong to a community which shares the same values. They are supposed to broaden horizons and shape young people in closeness to the country where their relatives live and where their grandparents and parents were born.
We want the children to learn about what has shaped our country and society over the centuries.
We want to show how to be a Pole outside of Poland.

Our Achievements

About The School
We prepare youth for the Certificate Examination and the Seal of Biliteracy. The Academy of the Polish Language for Children and Teenagers is an educational institution registered with the State of Illinois as a non-profit organization where classes are held on Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM.

We teach from preschool, through kindergarten, eight-grade elementary school, three-year high school and religion lessons with preparation for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
The Academy of Polish Language for Children and Teenagers is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Functioning of the Academy is free of discrimination based on race, skin color, age, gender, beliefs, marital status or others based on state and federal regulations.

The school is completely independent of other schools that have their classes in the parish buildings of St. Isaac Jogues.

We provide a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and the best education for your child.
